Job Overview:
The Primary MOET Executive is responsible for developing, maintaining, and ensuring the quality of the Primary MOET curriculum across the entire school system, including both the main school program and after-school/academic support programs. The role focuses on designing Pacing Guides, developing teaching resources, creating learning activities, supporting teachers, and coordinating the implementation of academic projects within the system.
Key Responsibilities:
A. Curriculum Development & Pacing Guide Design
- Develop, adjust, and update the MOET Primary curriculum according to MOET and system requirements.
- Design yearly, termly, and weekly pacing guides for all MOET Primary subjects.
- Ensure curriculum alignment across campuses and grade levels.
- Integrate competency-based learning, values education, and school-wide learning outcomes.
B. Teaching Materials & Learning Activity Development
- Develop teaching materials, worksheets, assessments, and learning tasks that support classroom teaching.
- Select and evaluate reference textbooks and academic resources.
- Create activity banks and resource libraries for teachers.
- Coordinate with the Academic team to develop supporting programs (tutoring/intervention).
C. Teacher Support & Training
- Provide guidance to teachers in implementing lessons aligned with the pacing guide.
- Conduct training sessions on teaching strategies, assessment practices, and curriculum updates.
- Observe classes and offer constructive feedback to ensure teaching quality.
- Support teachers in designing lesson plans and classroom activities.
D. Academic Quality Assurance
- Monitor the implementation of the curriculum and pacing guides in classrooms.
- Review assessments, student results, and academic reports to ensure alignment with school standards.
- Identify academic gaps and propose improvement solutions.
- Coordinate audit activities and report academic quality to the System Manager.
E. Academic Projects & System Coordination
- Participate in system-level academic projects (curriculum updates, competitions, events, STEM Week, Reading Month...).
- Collaborate across campuses to ensure consistency in teaching practices.
- Support academic communication and documentation between campuses.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Primary Education.
- 3–4 years of experience teaching the MOET Primary curriculum.
- Ability to use English for communication and work-related tasks (reading materials, basic communication).
- Strong understanding of the 2018 National General Education Program (Chương trình GDPT 2018) and Primary student competency requirements.
- Skills in designing learning activities, planning, and developing teaching materials.
- Systematic thinking, attention to detail, proactiveness, and strong teamwork ability.
