PRACITAL EXPERIENCE PROGRAM BORN TO FLY - DREAMS OF FLIGHT

Victoria Saigon South School cooperates SPECIALLY with strategic partner VietJet Air to organize the  enterprise education experience program "Born to Fly - Dreams of flight". 

Through the program, Victoria Saigon South hopes that young pilots and flight attendants will have a fun and useful "work" day, experiencing the work that can only be seen in movies. This will be a memorable memory on the journey of adulthood, as well as a way to help them "actualize" their dream about pilot and flight attendant jobs.

This is not a tour, the children will be guided specifically to practice directly. Join the challenges to know more about recruitment standards, processes, facilities, basic knowledge of the aviation industry, pilot jobs, professional flight attendants.

In particular, they will be equipped with a lot of necessary knowledge and skills for the future such as: Professional image building skills, Teamwork skills, First Aid skills, Escape skills, etc. This will be the first "launch pad" for children to confidently pursue their passions and dreams.

Time: fixed from 7:00 to 17:00 / day

When participating, children will choose one in two programs:

Desire the sky - Enter the cockpit, "transform" into a pilot

The children will go through 11 stations with many practical activities such as:

• Station 1: Flight check in - Happy start

On the first station, children will get to know and practice basic procedures when flying. Children will be able to take pictures with Vietjet's mascot Amy, check-in, receive boarding passes and passports at airline counters.

• Station 02: Exciting Boarding time - Rolling

The captain will welcome children to the flight “VSSS9001” and share the rules, itinerary for one day. Next, there will be interesting activities to help them grasp the basic knowledge about the aviation industry.

• Station 03: A-Z Study Station - Challenge “Aviation language”

Children will participate in a special language class, experience interesting learning methods that make it easy to familiarize themselves with aviation English terms commonly used by pilots.

• Station 04: Systems Check

At Vietjet Aviation Academy, children can directly explore the entire modern and advanced learning area. From there, there will be a panoramic view of professional training and teaching equipment for pilot training, etc. Also, there will be activities that encourage creativity and the spirit of learning at this station.

• Station 05: Happy Lunch

Students will "change" into passengers and have a delicious and healthy lunch the same way it is served on airplanes.

• Station 06: On the runway!

It's time for children to warm up and get ready for the exciting and surprising flight VSSS9001.

• Station 07: Into the space

Children will get the opportunity to experience the pilot's cockpit for the first time in their life, as well as learn about the several vital engines and the fundamentals of flight. Learn how to control the plane in various terrains and weather conditions. In particular, the students directly basic flight operations in the Airbus A320 simulator's cockpit.

• Station 08: Hindrance to Accidents

The children will practice treating burns, open wounds, how to bandage and take care of the wound, as well as how to provide first aid when someone faints under the supervision of experts at this station.

• Station 09: Fire conquerors

Teachers will instruct students on how to handle different types of flames, classify different types of fires, and use fire extinguishers safely while they participate in a simulated fire incident on an airline.

• Station 10: Survival

When an emergency happens on the plane, they will learn how to look out for themselves and assist those around them. For instance, how to sit and keep your head protected when the plane shakes, how to put on an oxygen mask for you and the person sitting next to you, etc.

• Station 11: Safety landing

The flight has completed its voyage. The children will receive gifts and certificates, along with photos to remember the event.

Delight the flight: Enter the cabin, "play the role" of a flight attendant 

There are still 11 stations with lots of interesting activities waiting for the kids.

• Station 1: Flight check in 

At this first station, the children will get acquainted as well as practice basic procedures when flying. Children will be able to take pictures with VietJet's mascot Amy, check-in, receive boarding passes and passports at airline counters.

• Station 02: Exciting Boarding time 

The captain will welcome the children to the flight “VSSS9001” and share the rules and itinerary for one day. Next, there will be interesting activities to help them understand the basic knowledge about the aviation industry.

• Station 03: Ready to take off 

They will have the opportunity to learn about the special jobs of flight attendants, be divided into small groups and directly "transform" into flight attendants who instruct passengers what to pay attention to during the flight.

• Station 04: Systems Check  

Children will directly explore the entire modern and advanced learning area at Vietjet Aviation Academy. From there, there will be an overview of professional training and teaching equipment for pilot training, etc. At this station, there will also be emulation activities which stimulate student’s learning spirit and creativity.

• Station 05: Happy Lunch

They will "transform" into passengers, enjoying a delicious and nutritious lunch served on the plane.

• Station 06: On the runway! 

Time for children to warm up, prepare for a journey surprisingly, excitingly on flight VSSS9001.

• Station 07: Suit your elegance 

Chance is only, the children will be dressed up, wore uniforms and be guided to practice sitting, standing, moving, etc. as a professional flight attendant. This class will create conditions for students to shape and perfect their personal style.

• Station 08: Delighting every customer

At the flight simulator, students will hone basic self-service skills, learn how to make some basic drinks, as well as learn the functions and use of some basic equipment in the passenger compartment.

• Station 09: Open up the sky 

At this station, children will be instructed and practice how to safely open / close the aircraft door with training equipment to operate the aircraft cabin door.

• Station 10: Survival 

They will be instructed on how to inflate/deflate life jackets, use whistles/signals, etc. in case of forced emergency landing at sea (activities in the pool only apply to secondary school students, primary school will practice ashore, under the supervision of instructors for ensuring safety).

• Station 11: Safety landing

The flight journey has come to an end. The children will be awarded certificates and gifts, together to keep commemorative pictures.

Staff members from Victoria South Saigon will always be with the chidren as they participate in events. Additionally, each station's activities have undergone extensive study to ensure that they won't have a negative impact on children' physical and mental health. Parents can feel secure when letting their children participate in this exciting experience program.

The fee to participate in the program is 4,000,000 VND/child

- For those parents who have paid the reservation fee for their children attending the school, Victoria South Saigon will SPONSOR 50% of the PARTICIPATION FEES.

- If the parent who has paid the reservation fee successfully introduces another parent, both parents will receive a Born to Fly voucher for 2,000,000 VND/1 student.

- Parents can use the voucher and the 50% discount simultaneously.

- Vouchers of 2,000,000 VND can be transferred to friends and relatives.
